Gimpo FC strengthens its power by recruiting ‘young blood’ DF Song Jun-seok and FW Song Chang-seok.

The Gimpo club announced the signing of the two players through a press release. The recruitment of two players who made their professional debuts at a young age is expected to add vitality to Gimpo.

Song Joon-seok, born in 2001 on loan from Gangwon, went through Eonnam High School and Cheongju University before making his professional debut at Gangwon FC against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the 2021 season. 

While attending Eonnam High School, he participated in the Fall Korea High School Soccer Federation and led the team to runner-up.

Song Jun-seok, 바카라 who mainly plays at left-back, is characterized by active play, showing strength in linking with his teammates.

Song Jun-seok said, “I joined on loan, but I will quickly become a part of the team and try to help Gimpo have a good season.”

Song Chang-seok, born in 2000, made his professional debut at Hana Citizen in Daejeon after attending Daeryun High School and Yongin University. He showed his potential on the professional stage by appearing in a total of 6 games in the 2022 season and scoring once. 

Striker Song Chang-seok stood out in pressure from the front and aerial competition with diligent play, and is also an excellent player in terms of goal decision, such as winning the scoring award in the ‘2021 U-League 4 Region’.

Song Chang-seok said, “I am happy to join Gimpo. I will quickly adapt to the team and show a good image to Gimpo fans.”
